My work experience

I bring over a decade of experience working in various therapeutic settings, from school-based and outpatient care to intensive clinical environments (PHP and IOP) and private practice.

My clinical journey began in community mental health (Sound) and hospital settings (Harborview Mental Health and Addictions Clinic), where I supported individuals dealing with complex trauma, addiction, and severe mental health concerns. During my time at THIRA Health, I provided specialized care for adolescent girls and women in intensive DBT-based programs, treating depression, anxiety, eating disorders, and personality disorders. I've worked in private practice since 2021, focusing on helping individuals with anxiety, depression, body image concerns, and disordered eating, as well as couples navigating communication issues, intimacy challenges, and mismatched desire.

In 2023, I founded The Reflective Collective, LLC, a shared office and community space designed for private practice therapists to connect, collaborate, and support one another.

My education

My academic foundation is rooted in both the sciences and the arts, which continues to shape my therapeutic approach today. I earned my Master’s in Clinical Social Work from Seattle University, where I focused on trauma-informed care and social justice in clinical practice. Prior to that, I completed my undergraduate degree at Lewis & Clark College with a major in Psychology and a minor in Studio Art—an experience that deepened my appreciation for creativity, expression, and the mind-body connection.

To further specialize my work with couples and individuals navigating intimacy and sexual health, I completed advanced training through the Modern Sex Therapy Institutes and earned AASECT certification in Sex and Couples Therapy. Additionally, I have become a Certified Kink-Affirming Professional, allowing me to support clients through sexual exploration with humility, curiosity and advanced clinical knowledge. This ongoing education reflects my commitment to providing inclusive, affirming, and up-to-date care for clients exploring issues around relationships, desire, and identity.
